In news that shock the world, the most powerful man in the world, George Bush stated to bewildered American journalists that Cardiff City football club was the newest entrant in his infamous Axis of Evil.
       Cardiff City FC, the most famous of Welsh football clubs is said to be regarded by Washington officials as the secret driving force behind international terrorism.

The US president took time out yesterday to explain why he suspected the club.
       'My fellow Amercicans, it has come to my attention that our crusade against terrorism has uncovered a new enemy. An enemy that knows no bounds. An enemy that is prepared and fully able to use suicide sheep against our nation and its allies. We are not dealing with rational people here: we're dealing with Welshmen.'
      The news from the US comes as no surprise to the majority of Nationwide football fans, who have had to put up with hysterical Welsh fans invading football grounds up and down the UK, causing untold damage to stadiums and harassing local wildlife.
      An official statement late yesterday afternoon from the White House revealed that the FBI have gathered evidence linking funds from Cardiff City FC to illegal research into the genetic modification of sheep for potentially terrorist applications.
      'Over the last few months our federal agents have been monitoring the transfer of funds from Cardiff City FC to a number of dubious 'scientific experts' in Eastern Europe. We firmly believe that Cardiff City is a major threat to the western world.'
      The news from the US has been met with sceptism from Welsh MP and Cardiff City fan, Mr Swlachringlengblah.
       'I simply can't believe it. Cardiff City FC is dedicated to helping finance small local community projects, and the FBI now think we're terrorists! The money going to the scientific projects they mention is research into advanced farming techniques. Thats all. Bloody idiots the lot of them...'
